2022-2023 School Year
Thank you for taking the time to visit Bixby Elementary School’s website! Our staff is honored to serve the community by providing students with a world-class education, and I am equally honored to serve as the Principal of Bixby. As we start the 2022-2023, an opportunity for everyone to step up to the challenge and really expand our collective capacity. The safety of our students, staff and community is our number one priority.
The keys to Bixby’s success is our staff, parents, and community – all of whom partner to ensure that students achieve to their full academic potential by participating in rigorous and relevant classroom instruction. In addition, all Bixby students participate in an arts-enriched and technology-enhanced educational experience that nurtures the development of the 21stCentury Skills- Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration - that will be the foundation for their success in school and in life. This approach is fully reflective of Hacienda La Puente Unified School District’s philosophy of “Partners in Your Child’s Future!” The future scientists, doctors, engineers, artists, technologists, entrepreneurs, and future leaders of tomorrow undoubtedly are getting their start at Bixby Elementary School.
Each staff member is proud of our school, and we are fully-committed to providing the community with unparalleled customer service. We truly value parent involvement and encourage you to volunteer in a variety of ways including: participating in PTO, helping in classrooms, and participating on committees.
As principal, I have two primary goals:
- To ensure that our school provides your child with a world-class education
