A Message from Superintendent Cynthia Parulan-Colfer on the HLPUSD Commitment to All Students

Commitment to All Students:  The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District has a long-standing commitment to serve all students who we are privileged to have enrolled in our District.  The Board of Education has not only approved a resolution that communicates to all families and students that the Board supports them, this has also been codified in a variety of policies with Board Policy 5145, adopted in June 2018, specifically established to ensure that every school site should be a safe and welcoming place for all students and their families irrespective of their citizenship or immigration status.  The School District maintains a resource area on this website to provide our community up-to-date resources from the County and state regarding protecting our children and the families in our community.

A copy of the Board Policy and Resolution and a letter from the District will be emailed to all parents, staff and community members.  Duplicated copies of the letter from the Board and the resolution will be available at all schools for access by students and their families.
