Los Altos High School Physics students have advanced to the final round of the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contests.  Designed to boost interest and proficiency in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), this nationwide contest challenges public school teachers and students in grades 6-12 to show how STEM can be applied to help improve their local community.

Los Altos High School Physics students have won the state round with a prize of $20,000 in Samsung products, and now have become a top ten finalist in the country with a prize of $50,000.  If they win this final round, they can win a total of $100,000 in Samsung products and supplies for the school.
